Chelsea Reportedly Lead Liverpool, Real Madrid in Alisson Becker Race

Chelsea are preparing to make a €70m offer for Roma goalkeeper Alisson in the coming days.

With Real Madrid gradually turning their attention towards Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois, the Blues are eyeing Alisson as a replacement for the Belgian in the goalkeeping churn across Europe. Eden Hazard looks set to leave the club in search of Champions League football, with Real Madrid his most likely destination. Alisson, however, has his heart set on a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

This is why Courtois' contractual situation at Stamford Bridge is of huge intrigue in the Spanish capital.

Big changes are made to the interior as well, with Alcantara for the fixture trimming, and black Italian leather for the seats. A revised suspension has been developed, featuring the BILSTEIN DampTronic I continuously adjustable damping system.

Monchi has however stood firm, citing the Italian club's need to raise funds to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, and Alisson will not be sold for anything less than the full 70 million euros.

This has to be attractive to a Real Madrid hierarchy that have other areas of concern to address this summer, not least potentially replacing Mateo Kovacic after the World Cup, should the Croatian push for a departure.

Courtois has helped to keep those fires burning by admitting on a regular basis that he hopes to complete such a switch at some stage, with his two young children still based in Madrid following a previous loan spell at Atletico Madrid. Courtois has never quite taken to the life in London as he did in Madrid.

Following a decade in prison, he was released under conditions in 2009 after convincing his parole officers that he had changed. The assailants then hacked through a lock that led through to a hallway where Faid was waiting with one of his brothers.

And the 19-year-old goalkeeper could be one of the high profile players who might find the exit door at the San Siro this summer.

Spain and Manchester United stopper David De Gea has endured a poor tournament thus far, though, so it is perhaps a little unfair to judge Alisson exclusively on his time in Russian Federation. "They are in talks to sign Alisson". When the World Cup is over, we'll talk about that sort of thing.
