New Radio Telescope Picks up Strange Signal From Space

Astronomers have detected yet another mysterious and powerful fast radio burst hitting Earth from an unknown source in space.

The low frequency fast radio burst (FRB) lasted a matter of milliseconds, but researchers claim that the signal is the first radio emission received from across the universe with a frequency below 700 MHz - the lowest frequency FRB ever recorded, according to the MailOnline.

This means that whatever produced the signal, which has been named "FRB 180725A", is likely to be extremely powerful.

While they are radio signals, FRBs don't hold any data that astronomers or researchers have been able to decipher.
