Melania Praises LeBron James After Donald’s Racist Tweet

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at National Basketball Association superstar LeBron James following his CNN interview where he said he would never speak with the President.

Support for the 33-year-old James also came from the world of baseball, with Houston Astros infielder Alex Bregman praising the former Cleveland Cavaliers player as a role model, while branding Trump's tweet "embarrassing".

"In the tweet, posted late Friday, he calls Lemon the 'dumbest ma on television" and implies that James is not as smart as Lemon portrayed him. Trump tweeted his LeBron venom a day before making a trip to, you guessed it, Ohio.

The president wrapped up the tweet by declaring, "I like Mike!"

He said: "I support LeBron James".
