Kanye West denies being 'stumped' over Donald Trump question

West's Thursday interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live concluded somewhat strangely after Kimmel posed the question: West did not answer, then Kimmel abruptly announced a commercial break.

And frankly, it's a welcome relief from the controversy stirred up from West's interview with Jimmy Kimmel earlier this week. "I'm reading that I was stumped by a question", he writes, "Let me clarify the click bait".

He added that the question had been so important he'd needed time to gather his answer.

The move created a bit of a media storm, and Kanye has since taken to social media to claim he was simply not given enough time to answer, and needed more time to think. And then I was hit with the let's go to commercial break.

Kanye West spearheaded astringoffivealbums just a couple of months back, and now he has already rolled out a brand new song called "XTCY".

West has been a vocal supporter of President Trump and has been a recipient of backlash because of it.

Kimmel asked the rapper whether he thought the president cared about black people or "any people at all".

Last week, Ye's wife Kim Kardashian shared Kanye, North West and Saint West's dope Harper's Bazaar cover.

"Just as a musician, African-American, guy out in Hollywood, all these different things, you know, everyone around me tried to pick my candidate for me", the Chicago rapper told Kimmel.

'Well, he is a player, ' Kanye joked.

Kanye West enjoyed his Jimmy Kimmel Live! interview so much he tweeted about this weekend, and explained why he was left speechless by one question about President Donald Trump. Hell, he could have even made a 25-tweet thread about why he thinks Donald Trump cares about black people. "It makes me wonder, what makes you think that Donald Trump does. or any people at all?"

The lyric that's up for debate, reads: "You got sick thoughts?"

He also landed in hot water this May when he said slavery "sounds like a choice".

He reflected on the controversial moment positively as he said: 'What was awesome is the world got to really experience someone in a ramped-up state.

"It represented overcoming fear and doing what you felt no matter what anyone said, and saying 'you can't bully me, '" West said. "I got four of them", he says on the song.

"Nah, I still look at Pornhub", he said, to the immediate delight of both Kimmel and the audience.
