The police union had offered its members the ticket discounts because, according to them, "the franchise said they were going to honor all first responders" and require players to stand for the anthem.

Earlier today President Trump took to Twitter to once again criticize NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem as a protest against racial discrimination in the United States.

"Rather than condemn the bigots or beliefs today, the president took aim at a protest, a small group of National Football League players calling attention to racial injustice and inequality last night".

Mourinho Expects "No" Players To Sign For Manchester United Today
Surprisingly, newly-promoted Fulham was third on the highest spenders' list with 105.3 million euros spent on seven players. Wolves picked up Rui Patricio, Adama Traore, Joao Moutinho , Diogo Jota and Willy Boly for their attempts at staying up.

"We encourage you to call the Dolphins ticket office to request a refund because this organization obviously DOES NOT honor First Responders and the dangers they put themselves in every day", said the union in a statement posted on Facebook.

Mr. Trump's salvo came after Miami players Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson took a knee during a rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner on Thursday.

"Among several players who protested during Thursday's games included Malcolm Jenkins, who raised a fist during the anthem". But after teams actually began instituting policies to fine players for kneeling, outrage led to the NFL suspending that policy and they're still working with the NFL Player's Association to determine the best course or action.

Trump added that players should stand for the anthem or be suspended without pay. "Taking a knee when they should be standing proudly for the National Anthem".

That didn't sit well with the players, though.

An increasing number of players joined him, but critics perceived the protests as unpatriotic and disrespectful of the American flag and United States military.

Despite the league's efforts to have a cooling-off period while it seeks a solution to the ongoing demonstrations with the NFL Players Association, it appears that things are already starting to escalate. Stills said he and Wilson didn't coordinate their decision to kneel. "Stay strong brothers!" the tweet read.
