Wolves snap up Spanish winger Traore

It's believed Wolves are due to speak to the 21-year-old today in a bid to convince him to move to Molineux from the Premier League champions.

Wolves are set to sign Spanish winger Adama Traore for a club record fee after meeting the £18m release clause in his Middlesbrough contract.

He scored five goals and provided ten assists last season.

Boro also announced that Traore had left a parting gift for the fans as a token of gratitude for their support during his two years at the Riverside... Although the Ukrainian worldwide would have beefed up their arsenal further, they still have a formidable side to ply their trade in the Premier League.

A product of the Barcelona youth system, Traore left the Camp Nou in 2015 to join Aston Villa, moving to Middlesbrough after a season.

He suffered relegation again during his first campaign with Middlesbrough in 2016-17 but was one of the Championship's most risky attackers as Tony Pulis' team finished fifth, only to be knocked out in the play-offs by Villa. The club has been looking at the versatile Ukrainian this summer and hope to persuade him with the prospect of more regular football.

He spent the 2016/17 season on loan at PSV Eindhoven before returning to City where he won the Premier League title last term.
