Photos of suspects in Skripal case might be those of actors
British prosecutors named the two suspects as Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov.
The nerve agent attack in Salisbury has so far had only one benefactor - Nina Ricci, which got free advertising due to a disguise apparently used by the perpetrators to hide the poison, the Russian envoy to the United Nations joked.
The new info includes the aliases of the two Russian agents: Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, now charged with murder (though Moscow will never extradite them).
The apparent target of the attack, Sergei Skripal, had served in the GRU for about 15 years but betrayed the agency by selling secrets to MI6, Britain's foreign intelligence service. He would later settle in England.
Mr Skripal, 66, and his daughter Yulia, 33, were poisoned with Novichok on 4 March.
He told the UN Security Council the allegations were "unfounded and mendacious", and referred to the Novichok nerve agent as "mythical".
Four dead, including gunman, in USA bank shooting
Leonard Cain tells The Cincinnati Enquirer that he was about to walk into the bank until someone told him about the shooting. Witnesses said they heard volleys of gunfire and one said that a woman was shot as she entered the bank building's lobby.
Leaders of the UK's allies have backed Theresa May's claim that the suspects in the Salisbury nerve agent attack are Russian spies. The Russian Embassy responded by mocking May on Twitter, and even accusing the British government of making up the entire incident up to make Russia look bad.
Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the State Duma, the lower chamber of Russia's parliament, dismissed the British investigation as an "anti-Russian provocation".
On Wednesday, British prosecutors and police confirmed this report. With this assumption, they searched through lists of airline passengers who had arrived at the country prior to the attack.
The statement of unity came ahead of angry clashes at the United Nations Security Council in NY after British diplomats raised the allegations.
There, in broad daylight on a Sunday afternoon, it was sprayed onto a door handle at the home of a former Russian spy, Mr Sergei Skripal.
"We also note the UK's analysis, independently verified by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), that the exact same chemical nerve agent was used in the poisoning of Dawn Sturgess and Charles Rowley as was used in the poisoning of the Skripals".

The British police report includes data on the date, time and point of the two suspects' exit from Russian Federation.
Kosachev also wrote he could imagine a situation where someone might try to commit a crime of this kind but it looks highly improbably that the two men "would exist in a vacuum to the degree that no could recognize them from the photos, given they should have tens or hundreds or thousand of schoolmates, college-mates, fellow-workers, or simply neighbors and passers-by". "We do not believe Dawn and Charlie were deliberately targeted, but became victims as a result of the recklessness in which such a toxic nerve agent was disposed of".
"This was also not a rogue operation".
"We have full confidence in the British assessment that the two suspects were officers from the Russian military intelligence service, also known as the GRU, and that this operation was nearly certainly approved at a senior government level", the four countries' leaders said in a joint statement on Thursday.
What are the Russians saying?
In response, Mr Rowley said from his hospital bed that he while he did not recognise the pair, he wants to see the men "brought to justice".
