The courageous beauty says she doesn't spend any time feeling sorry for herself, and is aware of how lucky she has been in life.

Olivia Newton-John has revealed she is battling cancer for the third time - after keeping her second fight with the disease a secret.

The 69-year-old actress revealed she has cancer in her lower spine and has been treating the disease with "modern" medicines and natural remedies.

In early 2013, Olivia was involved in a minor vehicle accident, and a lump appeared in her right shoulder.

"I thought, 'It's my life, ' and I just made a decision to keep it to myself'".

The Grease star, who turns 70 this month, appeared on Australian TV and said that doctors found a tumor at the base of her spine in 2017.

Newton-John is now treating her cancer with a combination of natural treatments.

"My husband's always there, and he's always there to support me, and I believe I will win over it and that's my goal", she told the Seven Network show.

The legendary singer has been an advocate for breast cancer screenings in Australia since beating cancer in 1992.

She also said she is taking cannabis oil to help control her pain.

Olivia gained worldwide fame after her part as Sandy in Grease, alongside John Travolta. Newton-John added, "A lot of people see it as a fight".

When asked if she was scared, she responded, "No, I don't go there".
