Apple To Launch New iPhones Today: Price, Specifications, And More

The XS Max is simply a larger version of the XS, while the XR is reportedly a new "budget" option-with a rumored starting price of $699 in the US.

Two of the iPhone models predicted to debut on Wednesday were expected to have prices higher than the iPhone X, which has been a hot seller. Hidden in the Apple website sitemap there appears to be confirmation that the new iPhones will be called iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.

Apple recently tweeted that they will be live streaming the event on their Twitter - now we can window shop and live tweet, score.

There's just a matter of hours until Apple finally reveals its refreshed and fully rebooted new iPhones.

Trump and Apple now at war
We are still waiting for the "three big plants" that Trump past year claimed Apple chief executive Tim Cook had promised to build. US President Donald Trump has called for Apple to produce more in the US.

Despite the cost, over 42 percent of current iPhone owners in the United States are planning to upgrade to whatever Apple announces today.

However, there's one new rumour that suggests Apple will also bring a feature to these new devices that has never been seen before.

Apple as usual is hosting its annual iPhone event in September, and this time it sent out invites for a September 12 event set to be held at the Steve Jobs Theater. In addition to 64GB and 256GB models, Apple will also offer a 512GB model.

Other analysts have slightly different prices-$699, $969 and $1,069-but all are banking on Apple to raise prices again and deliver more revenue in the year ahead.
