Samsung Unveils Stunning 49-inch, FreeSync 2 HDR Monitor

Last, and perhaps most practical of the display bunch is Samsung's new Space Monitor that is a 27-inch adjustable display.

Samsung also unveiled the UR59C, a 32-inch, 4K curved monitor, which the company claims is the world's first 4K curved monitor. All three monitors will be on display at the show, though they don't yet have release dates or price information. DisplayHDR 1000 is the top-end HDR spec from VESA, FreeSync 2 HDR is the latest FreeSync standard from AMD (though we still don't know for certain if existing FreeSync displays will be compatible with Intel's Adaptive Sync implementation, they should be). One of the monitors quite intriguing is the Space Monitor that can be clamped to your desk and adjusted at varying angles. No details about color fidelity or response time are available either, which leads us to believe that this screen is meant for office use, rather than as a gaming or content creation display. Also, when you position the Space monitor against the wall, the stand disappears into the monitor's thin bezel. Samsung goes the extra mile to use this long, wide arm to hide power cables and HDMI cables too, giving you a monitor that's just simply attractive and keeps your workspace empty and clean. A built-in picture-by-picture mode lets you use it as a dual-monitor configuration for use with Windows Snap features and fullscreen applications. It is a space saving solution that allows the monitor to store flat against the wall. The previous version's 600 nits peak brightness has also been increased, up to 1000 nits, and it comes with HDR10 support, meaning it will likely be VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified.

UConn Women’s Basketball’s Unreal Streaks End On Loss To Baylor
In a game that sold out the Ferrell Center, Baylor's Lady Bears defeated the UConn Huskies. And then when we did get the shots that we wanted, we didn't make any of them".

The company hasn't confirmed the pricing for these new monitors. One HDMI port and two DisplayPort connections are provided. The monitor supports up to one billion colors and delivers a "truly immersive experience" that shines while creating content and art, watching videos or gaming while also reducing eye strain. The new monitor boasts a UHD curved display with a 2,500:1 contrast ratio and a full 3840×2160 4K UHD resolution.

Gaming is the intended headline goal of the CRG9 and Samsung boasts the display features good gaming specs such as a 4ms response time, up to 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync 2 compatibility, and low image lag and motion blur - to help with fast paced games. However, you can pre-order those other monitors now, while the CRG9 won't be available until later in 2019.
