AMD Radeon VII revealed as AMD's 7nm flagship gaming GPU

The Radeon VII, the world's first consumer 7nm graphics card, promises to deliver twice the memory, more than twice the memory bandwidth and up to 29 percent higher gaming performance than the Radeon RX Vega 64 GPU. "Radeon VII has better performance in some of the latest Vulkan games like "Strange Brigade" and is very competitive at both DX11 and DX 12 games".

AMD's demo shots show the card compared against the RTX 2080, suggesting that AMD will continue to target the upper part of the market without offering competition against the RTX 2080 Ti.

IPL 2019 to be held entirely in India from 23 March
There also has to be a 15-day gap between the end of the IPL and India's worldwide engagements as per the new BCCI constitution. Since the inaugural edition of IPL - in 2008, the tournament has only been played on foreign soil twice.

Su also announced that Google has selected Radeon Pro GPUs to power Project Stream, its game streaming project. The company's new Radeon VII GPU is its second generation Vega Graphics core, with features like Async Compute, Rapid Packed Math and Shader Intrinsics. So what's inside the new Radeon VII? The Vega 10 is built on GlobalFoundries' 14nm process; the Vega 20 is built on TSMC's 7nm process. The recent launch of the RTX 2060 demonstrated that Nvidia's Turing architecture can hit Vega 64 where it hurts, with that $350 GPU delivering 95 percent of Vega 64 performance.

It is likely that AMD will use more power for the same performance - 300W vs. 250W - and lack any forward-looking ray tracing support, but the Radeon VII deal is sweetened a little with the knowledge it will ship with codes for upcoming Devil May Cry 5, The Division 2 and Resident Evil 2 titles. With AMD Radeon FreeSync technology, the popular, standards-based adaptive sync technology supported by more than 550 gaming monitors, gamers can experience smooth gameplay at every level.

AC Milan’s Higuain poised for Chelsea move
Chelsea, for their part, are in need of a striker after deploying Eden Hazard as a false nine for a large chunk of the season. And Leonardo says Higuain has to make up his mind about whether he wants to continue his career at San Siro or go elsewhere.

Equipped with 60 compute units/3840 stream processors running at up to 1.8GHz and 16GB of ultra-fast HBM2 memory (second-generation High-Bandwidth Memory), the Radeon VII graphics card enables high-performance gaming and ultra-high quality visuals.

One major question for the new card is whether AMD will be able to do anything about Nvidia's GPU price increases and overall competitive position. Well, Dr. Su mentioned the next-gen GPU architecture by name only once, when mentioning the future architectures of AMD.
