The driver stopped her bus, ran across the street, and picked up the child.

In video released by the MCTS, you can see Ivic driving down the street when she spots the small girl, who was less than a year old and dressed only in a onesie. I'm shaking, ' she says. "Baby was so scared and cried".

The MCTS said in a statement that the baby was unharmed. As Ivic called for help, a passenger gave up her coat to keep the boy warm before police and firefighters arrived.

From a distance on her regular morning route on Milwaukee's south side, just after 8 a.m., she saw him: a baby boy alone running along a freeway overpass sidewalk. When police gathered near his home, he noticed his child was not there and ran outside. Officers later reunited the toddler with his father.

Milwaukee police told WITI no charges were filed in the case.
