Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has spoken about the possibility of signing a striker in January to take the place of Munir, who left for Seville this week.

Munir made 56 appearances for Barcelona, scoring 12 goals for the club.

The 23-year-old is now set to make the switch to Sevilla, with the Andalusian club - who sit third in LaLiga - confirming on Friday that they had reached an agreement in principle with Barca for a fee of €1,050,000.

He is fluent in playing across the front line, although he has been deployed primarily through the center by Barcelona this season.
