The three-time All-Star has already started the rehab process.

Last month Lindor was able to avoid arbitration with a one year, $10.55 million deal. Flaherty has played sparingly at short in his seven-year career. With the Indians losing the services of Michael Brantley, Yan Gomes, Yonder Alonso, and Edwin Encarnacion over the offseason, so they may be even more reliant on Lindor to carry the offense in 2019. The 34-year-old hit 25 home runs with 68 RBIs in 2017, but played in only 83 games last season because of back injuries. Even if it's for a week or two, the Tribe can't afford to have Lindor out of their lineup this season.
