Smart downloads for Netflix comes to iPhone, iPad

Today, Netflix announced that a feature called Smart Downloads, previously available for Android users only, is being rolled out to those Netflix subscribers who use a device powered by iOS.

Presently, that very same functionality has advanced over to Netflix's iOS app, ensuring that your "downloads" list is consequently populated with the following unwatched scene and cleared of the ones you've just gorged through.

After watching a couple of episodes of series, the app then automatically begins to download the next episode in line once you've finished the current episode. The feature is created to automatically delete an episode before it installs a new one. In addition to that, it downloads the next one as you're on a WiFi network.

The feature has been available on the Android version of Netflix since the middle of previous year.
