Monday's forecast calls for a chance of more freezing rain before 4 p.m. followed by a "wintry mix" of rain, snow and sleet that could affect the area until Tuesday afternoon, the weather service said.

The heaviest snow is expected to come Tuesday morning and afternoon, potentially making travel hard across much of northern Wisconsin, the Weather Service said.

The GTA and much of southern Ontario could be in for another bout of messy weather with a winter storm system expected to hit the region Tuesday.
