OnePlus has collaborated with European telecom carrier EE to be among the first brands to launch a 5G smartphone.

A few days ago, OnePlus sent out media invites for its event during Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. The OnePlus 5G prototype phone will be running on a fully functional network. The invitation curiously emphasises "5G gaming" as an example of what it will show off, which could indicate that the actual 5G phone that launches later this year might be aimed at gamers.
