It's a fitting milestone for Women's History Month, though NASA spokeswoman Stephanie Schierholz tells CNN's Gianluca Mezzofiore that it "was not orchestrated to be this way" and "assignments and schedules could always change".

"I just found out that I'll be on console providing support for the FIRST ALL FEMALE SPACEWALK with @AstroAnnimal and @Astro_Christina", she wrote on Twitter. NASA celebrates the accomplishments of the many highly qualified women who fill its ranks, and a couple of them are about to perform a truly history spacewalk.

The US space agency Nasa said astronauts Christina Koch and Anne McClain will walk outside the International Space Station on 29 March on a mission to replace batteries installed last summer.

Jeffrey Toobin Has A Grim Prediction About Roger Stone After ‘Insane’ Behavior
By themselves, those attempts may not have constituted a crime, but authorities say Stone lied to Congress when asked about them. Stone, testifying on the stand last month, apologized for the Instagram post, calling it an "egregious mistake".

It will be the second of three walks scheduled for Expedition 59's mission. Anne also will join Nick Hague for the March 22 spacewalk.

Koch is set to launch on March 14, as part of Expedition 59 and 60 that will launch from Russian Federation. She happens to be the Canadian Space Agency Controller and will be stationed at the Nasa's Johnson Space Centre in Houston. "In addition to the two female spacewalkers, the Lead Flight Director is Mary Lawrence, and Jackie Kagey (also a woman), is the lead EVA (spacewalk) flight controller".

McClain and Koch are both members of NASA's 2013 astronaut candidate class, which was 50% women.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Opening Dates Revealed
Disney has finally announced the opening dates for its new Star Wars land, and it's not very far, far away. It will be open during Extra Magic Hours for guests at certain Disney hotels.

The all-female makeup of the team conducting the spacewalk obviously won't have any impact on the work being done, as all NASA astronauts are held to the exact same standards and are equally qualified to handle any scenario whether they're men or women.

The first all-female spacewalk is to take place later this month, 35 years after a woman first took part in one. McClain, an aerospace engineer and a senior army aviator, has been on board the International Space Station since December 2018. NASA says spacewalks are conducted for repairs, testing equipment and conducting experiments.
